What to wear at Yoga Class?

Which is comfortable to you. You need to move your body lots. Whatever allows you to be comfortable during yoga classes. Cotton clothing is advisable.

What should I bring?

Water bottle, towel and mat. Limited mats are also available at our studio but it is recommended that you bring your own yoga mat for hygienic purposes.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No, parking is Free.

Do you have lockers?

We do not have lockers. Please leave valuables at home or in the car. Ray Yoga is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles.

Do I have to register classes online?

Walk-ins are always welcome but it is advisable to book your class online in advance. We do not book classes over the phone.

When should I practice yoga?

You can practice early morning, before lunch or in the evening. You must be consistent to get utmost benefit from your yoga. It is advisable to schedule your yoga classes 2-3 days per week for pain free body and tension free life. You need to practice 4-6 day per week for life-changing effects.  

Should I eat before the class?

It is better to avoid any heavy meals 2 hours prior practicing. If you are hungry closer to class starting, you can eat fruit.

Can I drink water during yoga sessions?

You can surely drink few sips of water during classes to stay hydrated. It is advisable to drink plenty of water before and after classes.

What are the studio Etiquettes?

 

  • Be respectful of others.
  • Maintain the tranquility of the studio.
  • Studio class room is cell phone free zone. Please turn your cell phone off.
  • Respect scent-free studio environment.
  • Accommodate other yogi when he/ she is looking for a mat-space.
  • Do not leave early unless it is very urgent.
  • If you use studio yoga mat please use the spray and cloth provided to clean up for hygienic purposes.

What are the studio policies?

 

  • New students must fill out and sign Registration and Agreement of Release and Waiver of Liability.
  • All yogis must check in at our Reception prior to class start.
  • We accept cash, cheque and email transfer at the studio. You can use credit cards and debit cards for online payment.
  • Fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. In case of class cancellation a refund or credit will be given.
  • You must inform yoga instructor if you have any injuries, physical challenges or if you are pregnant. You must consult with your doctor/ professional before attending yoga sessions.

Is there any chance to be injured practicing yoga?

Yoga is inherently dangerous and can result in personal injury. Any injury sustained from proper or improper use of this Yoga Activity is solely the responsibility of the yogi or performer.
