Halasana (Plow Pose)
The Sanskrit name Halasana (Ha-LA-sana) means Plow Pose. This pose looks like an old-style Indian plough pulled by cows or bulls. If you feel back pen during your menstruation, or if you have any issues on infertility, insomnia and sinusitis, practise this yoga pose.

Step-by-Step Instructions
- In supine position inhale and gently raise legs towards the ceiling and draw inner groins into the pelvis.
- Make 90 degree angle between your legs and floor.
- Press your hands against the floor, lift slowly your tailbone, hips and abdomen.
- Bring the legs over the head.
- Exhale and lower the leg down and rest the toes on the floor.
- Stay for 5 to 10 deep breaths.
- Exhale and lift the toes from the floor.
- Lower the tailbone, hips, abdomen and come back to supine position.
